Chems is an experienced PHE educator with international teaching experience in IB schools across Norway and Algeria. He holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education with a specialisation in Nordic Outdoor Education from the University of South-Eastern Norway, as well as qualifications in behaviour analysis and mathematics education.
Chems has taught PHE at both primary and middle school levels, including students with special educational needs. He previously served at the British International School of Stavanger and Romerike International School, where he designed inclusive, dynamic lessons promoting fitness, teamwork, and lifelong health. Earlier in his career, he taught for six years at Taiba Group Private School in Algeria, also coaching school teams for regional sports events.

Thomas Coackley is a qualified Teacher from the UK, holding a PGCE from the University of Cambridge and a First-Class Honours degree in Geography from Lancaster University. He taught across a range of year groups and developed a strong track record of delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in both long-term and short-term roles.
Tom worked in several schools across Cambridgeshire, where he built strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. He supported students with a variety of learning needs, including those with EHCPs and EAL backgrounds, and contributed actively to wider school life through clubs and enrichment events.
He is a native English speaker with a passion for inclusive, inspiring education and has a particular interest in outdoor learning and languages. Tom also speaks intermediate Spanish, basic Greek, and has beginner-level skills in Italian and Mandarin.

John (JJ) is an experienced Mathematics educator who taught in the United States, Uganda, and Chile. He holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, along with a teaching certification from Upper Valley Educators Institute (NH, USA). Throughout his teaching career, John led mathematics departments, developed interdisciplinary curricula, and integrated technology and hands-on learning into classrooms.
He served as a Math Teacher at Kampala International School and 7 Hills International School in Uganda, where he taught IGCSE, KS3, and IMYC curricula. John also taught in U.S. schools including Windsor High School and Rivendell High School, and previously worked as an English teacher in Chile. He is known for creating engaging math content through his platform "Mr. JJ’s Math Journey" and for leading student teams in competitions like Mathemania and Tournament of Minds.
John is a passionate, multilingual educator committed to inclusive, holistic education. He speaks English (native), Spanish (fluent), Acoli (advanced), and has additional proficiency in French, Portuguese, Luganda, and Kiswahili.

Elli holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science (Clinical Biochemistry) from the University of the West of England, UK. She combined her strong academic foundation with hands-on experience in microbiology and teaching.
Elli worked as a Junior Microbiology Analyst at Remedica, where she was responsible for analysing microbiological quality in pharmaceutical products and developing strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills. Alongside her scientific work, she also taught Biology at IMS Private School, preparing secondary students for IGCSE-level examinations. She was known for integrating technology into her lessons and building strong relationships with students and parents.

Sharmistha holds an MSc in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on Science and Environmental Systems. She has over a decade of international teaching experience across India, Jordan, Nepal, Indonesia, and Spain.
In her past roles, Sharmistha served as an IBDP Coordinator, MYP and DP ESS Facilitator, CAS Supervisor, and Programme Leader. She led the successful authorisation of the IBDP at Premier International School in Nepal and held leadership positions in several IB World Schools. She also contributed to curriculum development as an IBEN ESS Curriculum Reviewer and served as an IB External Examiner for ESS.
Throughout her teaching career, Sharmistha mentored faculty, supported school evaluations, and guided students in MYP, DP, and CP projects. Her teaching was grounded in inquiry-based learning and a commitment to international mindedness and sustainability.

Ben Schoenberg is an accomplished mathematics and physics educator with over 25 years of international teaching experience across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He holds a Master of Education in Mathematics Instructional Leadership from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Washington. Ben is also a certified IB DP teacher and AP Calculus BC instructor, as well as an AP Reader. He went to Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) on a scholarship for undergraduate (bachelor of science in mathematics).
He has taught IB Mathematics Analysis & Approaches HL, AP Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, and Physics at institutions such as Marymount International School Rome, BASIS DC, and the British School of Monaco. His work at the Art of Problem Solving included contest coaching, Olympiad training, and curriculum development. Ben has coached students who qualified for elite competitions such as the AIME, and led Math Contest Clubs participating in ISMTF and AMC events.
Beyond the classroom, Ben has developed curriculum for Beast Academy, taught underprivileged students across the globe, and mentored learners in gifted and international programmes including Sidwell Friends School and Phillips Exeter Academy. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded a renowned circus arts business, and continues to integrate creativity into his teaching. She previously worked at Alexandria International Academy (AIA) as a Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator, IB Teacher Librarian, and English Literature Teacher, supporting both the IGCSE and IBDP programs. Her role also included involvement in the Extended Essay component of the IBDP.
Before that, Marwa worked as an IB Teacher and TOK Coordinator at Al Rowad International School (IBCA). She also gained experience as a Researcher at the Academic Research Sector of the Library of Alexandria

Foteini Chasikou

Foteini Chasikou is a passionate educator of Classics and Greek Philology with extensive international experience in secondary and higher education. She holds a BA in Greek Philology, specialising in Ancient Greek and Latin, and an MA in Technology and Language Education, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She also holds certifications in Teaching Greek as a Second Language and TEFL/TESOL.
Foteini most recently taught Latin and Ancient History at BASIS International School in Guangzhou, China, including AP Latin and Capstone courses in Ancient Greek Epic and Philosophy. Her university-level teaching includes positions at institutions such as Peking University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Xi’an International Studies University, where she lectured in Ancient and Modern Greek language, history, and culture. Earlier in her career, she taught Ancient and Modern Greek, Latin, Literature, and History at private secondary schools across Greece.
She has participated in international conferences on language learning and is the author of a published article exploring mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) among refugees. Foteini is a native Greek speaker, fluent in English, and proficient in Ancient Greek and Latin.
Krinia Meletiou

Krinia Meletiou is a dedicated English Language Teacher with over seven years of experience teaching students of all ages and proficiency levels. She holds a BA in English from the University of Leicester, UK and a CELTA certification from The BSN Language Centre in The Hague, Netherlands. Krinia has taught at several educational institutions in Limassol, including the American Academy Limassol and various private language institutes, where she prepared students for national and international English examinations such as Cambridge English.
Her experience spans both classroom teaching and private instruction, with a focus on differentiated learning, student engagement, and exam readiness. Krinia has also worked as a language teacher assistant at the Cyprus University of Technology and facilitated immersive language experiences in summer camp environments.

Stelios Theodosiou is a highly experienced and passionate Design & Technology educator with over 40 years of teaching experience in both the UK and Cyprus. He holds a B.Ed. in Design & Technology Education and a Teacher's Certificate with a Diploma in Education from the University of London, Goldsmiths College.
From 1988 to 2024, Stelios served as the Head of Design & Technology at The English School in Nicosia, Cyprus, where he founded and led the department. He taught KS3, IGCSE, and A Level Design & Technology, led department meetings, developed rigorous curricula, and implemented high-impact assessment strategies. He also spearheaded numerous student enrichment activities, including Robotics, F1 in Schools, and 4x4 in Schools competitions.
Prior to this, he held teaching and leadership roles at Copland Community School and The School of St. David’s and St. Katherine’s in London, where he taught Design & Technology and Graphic Communication across various key stages.
Stelios is bilingual in English and Greek and is known for his commitment to fostering active learning environments and personalising education to meet individual student needs.

Jennifer Sykes is an experienced and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) educator with over 30 years of international teaching experience across the UK, Australia, China, and Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Education from the University of Western Australia, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Hearing Impairment) from the University of Melbourne. Jennifer is also a certified Irlen Assessor, COGMED trainer, and holds qualifications in Gifted Education and Psychometric Testing.
Jennifer has held multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as the Individual Needs Coordinator at the British School Jakarta, where she implemented student support systems, led wellbeing initiatives, and introduced programmes such as Zones of Regulation. Her previous roles include Head of AEN and Gifted & Talented Coordinator at Dulwich College Suzhou and SENCo positions at several UK and international schools. Her teaching career has included work with deaf and blind students, development of inclusive curricula, and collaboration with educational psychologists and support professionals.
Jennifer regularly delivers parent and staff workshops on topics such as ADHD, neurodiversity, and social-emotional support. Fluent in English, and a dedicated advocate for inclusive education and student wellbeing.

She has taught 9th Grade World History and 12th Grade Philosophy at Colegio Menor in Quito, Ecuador, delivering culturally diverse and globally focused lessons. Taylor also served as the 9th Grade Team Leader and Environmental Club Advisor, fostering student leadership and sustainability initiatives. Her teaching experience includes 9th Grade Geography at Gunnison High School in Colorado, USA, where she emphasized critical thinking, collaboration, and blended learning.
Taylor has also supported students with behavioral and learning needs as a Paraprofessional. Beyond the classroom, she led international student trips, including a cultural tour to Ecuador and the Galápagos.

Eleftheria Diou is a qualified and passionate language educator of Greek origin currently teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL) at The Island Private School of Limassol. I support secondary students in developing their academic and social language skills, using inclusive and engaging approaches aligned with the IB framework.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, the CELTA and DELTA (Cambridge qualifications for language teaching), as well as an IB Diploma Programme Teaching Certificate. In addition, she is certified to teach Greek as a Foreign Language, which enables her to also offer Greek lessons to expat adults outside of school. These classes focus on real-life communication and cultural integration, helping learners feel confident in their daily interactions in Cyprus.
