About TLF Programme
The TLF (Technology Leaders of the Future) programme combines an advanced IB curriculum enriched by contributions from some of the best educators from the US and Europe. We offer unique educational opportunities at the intersection of Technology and Entrepreneurship.
This a fully funded scholarship programme awards 70 full scholarships. Graduates of the programme may be eligible to receive university scholarship support from TLF, depending on academic performance and university placement.

We are looking for students who:
Are aged 14-16
Demonstrate strong skills in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science
Are motivated to make a positive impact on society and explore entrepreneurship
Have a bright portfolio, which may include participation in Olympiads, competitions, or various STEM projects

How to apply?
Application Submission*
Applicants complete an online form, providing academic, extracurricular, and personal details for initial screening.

Testing Phase
All applicants take an initial math test to ensure equal opportunities to showcase their skills. Additional assessments follow for shortlisted candidates.

Interview with Programme Leaders
Candidates with exceptional test results are invited for a personal interview with the Head of Programmes to discuss their aspirations, goals, and alignment with programme values.
Final Selection
After evaluations, the admissions committee makes the final decision. Successful applicants are confirmed for admission and scholarship, covering tuition and other educational expenses.
Onboarding and Orientation
Selected students receive guidance on program details, support for relocation (if needed), and join an orientation to prepare them for their academic and personal journey.

FAQ: Academic
About IB Programme
The students will be studying the IB curriculum enhanced with an intensive STEM course.
TLF Students will receive both IB diploma and a Cyprus High School Diploma (Apolytirion) after successfully completing the course.
It is not possible to fully combine both, as the academic workload is high and we expect the scholars to fully concentrate on their studies at the Island School. If obtaining a national diploma is required, the family may organise this independently. Any necessary trips home to take national exams will be discussed with the school administration on an individual basis.
Yes! Moreover, we will be encouraging students to participate in all sorts of entrepreneurship activities throughout their studies.
Yes, our students are participating in all kinds of competitions, both locally and internationally. This is not mandatory, but if a student is motivated and maintains good academic performance in the core program, participation in Olympiads is absolutely possible. If a student qualifies for the final stages of international competitions or Olympiads, the TLF office may cover the cost of airfare. These trips are coordinated on an individual basis.
Yes, we will have a certified career counsellor, who will be responsible for guiding all of the TLF students on their university applications, SAT and IELTS preparation and monitoring deadlines. Moreover, some of the top students might even receive an additional TLF scholarship to cover their university expenses*

For MYP4, the minimum requirement is B1 level.
For MYP5, the minimum requirement is B1 level; B2 is recommended.
For DP1, the minimum requirement is B2 level; C1 is recommended.
However, the primary criteria for selection are testing/examinations and academic achievements, including personal projects and Olympiad placements.
If a candidate completes all stages of the selection process and is awarded the TLF Scholarship, but does not feel confident in their English abilities — or if the committee determines that additional English improvement is needed — supplementary English lessons can be organised and will also be covered by the scholarship.

All the students will receive complete health insurance covered by the scholarship for the whole duration of their studies.
No, TLF is a programme with full coverage and only for those who passed all the entrance exams. There could be announced other options within the Island School, which might be suitable for those candidates. Please refer to admission@isl.cy for more details on general admission requirements.
