Before registering your interest, please review the main exclusion criteria based on Cyprus’ official blood donation regulations. If any of the following apply to you, you may be ineligible to donate:
Under 17 or over 65 (unless special permission is granted).
Acute illness (fever, sore throat, or any active infection).
Recent surgery, dental extraction, or other major medical procedures.
Recent travel to high-risk tropical infection countries.
Taking medications that prevent or delay donation.
Chronic medical conditions that contraindicate donation (e.g., severe heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension).
Tattoos or piercings within the last four months.
History of blood disorders, Hepatitis B or C, HIV, or other infectious diseases.
Currently pregnant, experiencing significant menstrual symptoms, or breastfeeding.
Recently received any vaccinations.
