Dear Year 3 Parents,
As part of their summative assessment for the current unit, our Year 3 students have been working collaboratively in small groups to explore our Central Idea: Technology can help us in shaping a sustainable future.
Through teamwork, discussion, and shared planning, the children created their own stories about how technology can help solve problems and protect our planet. Using these ideas, each group designed and produced a stop-motion video to bring their story to life. Throughout this process, the students have worked very hard—sharing ideas, researching, planning, and demonstrating wonderful teamwork.
In their videos, the children show their understanding of how technology affects our daily lives and how new technological ideas can help create positive change.
We would be delighted for you to join us and watch the students’ creations on 20 March. To ensure smooth communication and allow each group the opportunity to present comfortably, parents will be invited in two time slots:
8:40 a.m.
9:15 a.m.
You were informed by email which time slot your child’s group will present in.
We are sure you will enjoy watching the videos and seeing the students’ knowledge, creativity, and imagination shine through.
