Jennifer Sykes is an experienced and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) educator with over 30 years of international teaching experience across the UK, Australia, China, and Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Education from the University of Western Australia, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Hearing Impairment) from the University of Melbourne. Jennifer is also a certified Irlen Assessor, COGMED trainer, and holds qualifications in Gifted Education and Psychometric Testing.

Jennifer has held multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as the Individual Needs Coordinator at the British School Jakarta, where she implemented student support systems, led wellbeing initiatives, and introduced programmes such as Zones of Regulation. Her previous roles include Head of AEN and Gifted & Talented Coordinator at Dulwich College Suzhou and SENCo positions at several UK and international schools. Her teaching career has included work with deaf and blind students, development of inclusive curricula, and collaboration with educational psychologists and support professionals.

Jennifer regularly delivers parent and staff workshops on topics such as ADHD, neurodiversity, and social-emotional support. Fluent in English, and a dedicated advocate for inclusive education and student wellbeing.
