Mr. Nikos Papadopoulos:
I am thrilled to share some incredible news! A group of our students recently participated in the prestigious Euromath/Euroscience Conference/Competition, an international event that gathers some of the brightest young mathematical minds worldwide. Despite having only two months of preparation, they achieved something truly remarkable—winning two prizes in their very first appearance!
Tymur Marchenko won 3rd prize in the Euromath presentation competition and Lisa Veselik won 3rd prize in the Euroscience presentation competition.
Personally, I am extremely proud of this unprecedented achievement, as our school is the first newcomer in the competition’s history to win an award, let alone two. Their success is a testament to their hard work, problem-solving abilities, and unwavering determination. Competing against seasoned teams from well-established schools, they demonstrated that passion, dedication, and a strong mathematical foundation can overcome even the toughest challenges.
Grajina and myself are beyond proud of their accomplishment, which not only showcases their individual talents but also highlights our school’s commitment to fostering mathematical excellence. This milestone sets the stage for even greater achievements in the future!
Please join us in celebrating this historic win. If you’d like to learn more about our students' journey or how we continue to inspire young mathematicians, feel free to reach out.
