IB Training for Staff at The Island School
07 Sep 2026
At The Island, professional development is an important part of our school culture.
Throughout the year, our teachers take part in IB training, workshops and professional learning opportunities, both in Cyprus and abroad, bringing new ideas and approaches back to school.
But learning also happens within our own team. During our Professional Development Sessions, teachers share their knowledge, useful tools and classroom experience, learn from one another and support each other.
Because in an IB school, learning doesn’t stop with the students. Our teachers are learners too and what they learn ultimately comes back to the classroom.
