Waldorf Class 3 embarked on an unforgettable trip to Prastio (Avdimou), where they dove into the fascinating world of old professions, halloumi making, and milk soap crafting. The students got hands-on in a workshop to create their own milk soap, which they proudly took home (and definitely didn’t use as a snack). They also sampled the village’s famous halloumi, which was so delicious, even the cows might have wanted a taste. Our guide, Father Athinodoros, shared some family history — his mother was the mastermind behind the halloumi featured in the museum, and his father was the village shoemaker. It was a day full of learning, laughter, and, of course, cheese!
