This past weekend offered a perfect blend of fun, camaraderie, and cultural exploration for our boarding students.
The excitement kicked off on Saturday with a lively trip to the local bowling alley. Students traded their schoolbooks for bowling balls, filling the air with laughter, friendly competition, and the satisfying crash of pins.
The cultural journey continued on Sunday with a vibrant Uzbek Cultural Evening. The common room was transformed by colorful textiles, traditional music, and the inviting aroma of Central Asian cuisine. Students and staff gathered to experience the rich heritage of Uzbekistan, enjoying a feast of classic dishes like plov (a flavorful rice pilaf). The evening featured presentations on Uzbek history, beautiful traditional clothing, and even some basic language lessons.
