We are exploring the possibility of organizing a school visit to Shirakatsy Lyceum (Armenia) and possibly UWC Dilijan on April 6-10, offering a valuable opportunity to observe IB schools while also combining the visit with a cultural experience.
The proposed plan would include:
Departure from Limassol: April 6

School Visit: April 7,8
Classroom and lesson observations
Visits to learning spaces and classrooms
Professional discussions with teachers and coordinators
Insight into PYP practices, planning, and implementation
Cultural & Educational Tours (2 days)
Garni Temple & Geghard Monastery-April 8
Lake Sevan & Dilijan, including Haghartsin Monastery, April 9
City tour of Yerevan, April 7
This trip would allow teachers to gain first-hand experience from another PYP school while also enjoying Armenia’s rich history and culture. It is a great chance to combine professional learning with a short holiday.

This is our initiative, there is no budget allocated and thus no funding from school. Therefore, you are free to choose a place to stay based on your preferences.
Airfare: There are 2 flights from Larnaca on Apr 6, at 9:20 and 20:50, both cost from EUR 25 if you take only an under seat bag. Also, there are 2 flights from Yerevan on Apr 10, at 9:55 from 49EUR, and at 21:25 from 39 EUR. The costs increase closer to the travel dates.
