It’s that time of year again! If you are a car owner in Cyprus, the deadline to renew your road tax is approaching fast.
To avoid any late fees or penalties, you must renew your registration by Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
🚗 How to Renew Online
The easiest way to renew is via the Road Transport Department (RTD) portal. Before you start, ensure you have a valid MOT and active Car Insurance, as the system checks these automatically.
📝 What to Fill In
Vehicle Registration Number: Your car’s license plate number (e.g., ABC 123).
Owner Reference Number: You only need the last three (3) digits of the ID used during registration. It is typically your Cyprus ID, Passport, or ARC number.
Renewal Period: Select whether you want to pay for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months.
