We are currently working on our unit with Transdisciplinary Theme: How the World Works.
This unit encourages students to inquire into understanding of the world and its phenomena through interactions within and between social and ecological systems.
In this unit, students are encouraged to inquire about our place in the solar system and how our planetary position influences our daily lives.
Our central idea is "Solar System relates to life on Earth".
Throughout this Unit, students are exploring:
1- What is the structure of the universe and our solar system
2- How space exploration informs our understanding of the world
3- How our place in the solar system affects our daily lives.
Grade 2: 4 & 5 December
Our Grade 2 students are proud to present their learning in an assembly themed around gratitude. As part of their unit on How We Organise Ourselves, they have explored the roles, systems, and connections that make our community function.
Parents are invited to come to school at 8:20 and proceed to the assembly point from the main primary gate. The assembly will begin at 8:30 and run 20-30 minutes.
Grade 2A: Thursday, 4 December Grade 2B: Friday, 5 December
This celebration will highlight the importance of being grateful, caring, and responsible community members, while showcasing students’ voices and appreciation for the people who help them learn and grow every day.
