Tucked in the hills of the Limassol district, the picturesque village of Lania is once again opening its lanes and courtyards to visitors this weekend. A beloved tradition since 2006, Lanes & Courtyards of Lania returns on May 9 and 10 with a packed programme of walks, markets, workshops, live performances and artist studio visits — all free and open to everyone, courtesy of the Women of Lania group.
Saturday brings a Snail Trail through open courtyards, a market, chair yoga, live music and a flower ceramic workshop, while Sunday adds a silkworm presentation, a commandaria guided tour, theatre, choral performances and tsiattista Cypriot poetry battles, rounding off with a raffle draw at 7pm.
A perfect spring weekend escape into one of Cyprus's most characterful villages.
