Next week, pre-primary & primary school classes will be discussing the NSPCC’s Talk PANTS rules in our Wellbeing lessons. During these discussions, we will aim to teach our pupils the following important safety skills without giving explicit information or telling scary stories. These are the PANTS rules:
The lessons empower children, in an age-appropriate way, to recognise their rights to their own bodies, say no to touch that is unwanted, and tell someone if they feel uncomfortable. The lessons include activities which help children understand:

IB Secondary School
We would like to inform you that, in accordance with the Ministry’s guidelines, we will begin our sex education lessons on Friday, 10 October. Each year group is required to complete 4-5 hours of sex education per year, and the lessons will be conducted by our Wellbeing Mentors.
Students will be grouped by age, as each group will cover different topics tailored to their developmental stage. The lessons will primarily focus on relationships, self-perception, and personal development, with key topics including:
➜ Foundations of Healthy Relationships: Self-esteem, boundaries, gender stereotypes, and violence prevention
➜ Development and Empowerment of the Self
➜ Family, Relationships, and Rights: Understanding roles, health, and responsibility in modern society
➜ Building Healthy Relationships and Promoting Personal Well-being: A guide to sexuality, safety, and equality
➜ Self-Identity and Personal Development
➜ Introduction to Self-Concept
Our goal is to provide students with essential knowledge and skills to develop healthy relationships and a positive self-image in a supportive and age-appropriate manner.
