The Mathematics Academy and the Mathematics Department are thrilled to announce the incredible success of our students at this year's Euromath & Euroscience Student Conference. Our school was represented by a dedicated delegation of 13 group participants and 3 independent students, all of whom showcased exceptional mathematical communication and analytical skills.
After days of intense competition against some of the brightest young minds across Europe, we are proud to share that our students secured Third Prize in two major categories:
Euromath Solo Presentation
Euromath Group Presentation
Why Euromath Matters Euromath isn't just a competition; it’s a platform where students transform from learners into presenters. It requires them to take complex mathematical concepts and make them accessible, engaging, and relevant to a global audience.
A Proud Moment for Our Community Beyond the trophies, our students gained invaluable experience in public speaking, academic research, and international networking. Our students represented our school with integrity and passion and we are extremely proud of them.
We would like to extend a huge congratulations to the winners, all the participants, and the mentors who supported them through months of preparation.
Bridging the Gap: From School to University Beyond the awards, we are proud to share a truly exceptional highlight from the conference. One of our students deeply impressed a Professor from the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (Pafos).
The Professor was so struck by the caliber of the student’s work that they extended an official invitation for our student to present their ideas to a class of undergraduate students. This is a rare honor that underscores the university-level thinking happening within our classrooms.
Building Future Partnerships The success didn't stop at the podium. Our faculty and students engaged in meaningful dialogue with the professor, sharing several innovative ideas for research and development. We are excited to announce that we are now exploring future collaboration opportunities between our school and the University of Beirut, opening even more doors for our students to engage in high-level academic projects.
"To see our students not only competing but also influencing the academic community at a university level is a testament to their dedication and the strength of our Mathematics curriculum program."
Please join us in celebrating these remarkable milestones and the bright future of our young mathematicians!
