PE Coordinator/Deputy Head – Pastoral Lead (Secondary)
Jenny Sykes
Deputy Head/Behaviour & Wellbeing Lead
With Louise’s upcoming maternity leave, we are putting the following arrangements in place to ensure smooth pastoral support and consistent behaviour standards across the school.
In Primary, Jenny Sykes, Deputy Head Wellbeing & Pastoral / Head of Learning Support, will take on Louise’s pastoral and behaviour responsibilities. Jenny will be the first point of contact for pastoral matters, behaviour support, and parent liaison in the Primary School.
In Secondary, Nicolas Salapatos, our PE Coordinator, has been appointed Deputy Head – Pastoral Lead (Secondary) alongside his current PE coordination duties. Nicolas will oversee behaviour across Secondary by applying policy, investigating incidents, and recommending actions to the Head of School and Secondary Principal. He will continue to develop a positive school culture through rewards and the House System—working closely with the Student Council—coordinate targeted interventions, mentor priority students with improvement plans, support teachers with classroom behaviour strategies, manage duty rotas, and contribute to safeguarding and crisis response as part of the Child Protection Committee.
Please join us in congratulating Nicolas on his new role and thanking both Nicolas and Jenny for stepping into these important responsibilities. Thank you for your continued support in helping us maintain a caring, safe, and well-run school community.
