Taylor is an experienced educator with a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

She has taught 9th Grade World History and 12th Grade Philosophy at Colegio Menor in Quito, Ecuador, delivering culturally diverse and globally focused lessons. Taylor also served as the 9th Grade Team Leader and Environmental Club Advisor, fostering student leadership and sustainability initiatives. Her teaching experience includes 9th Grade Geography at Gunnison High School in Colorado, USA, where she emphasized critical thinking, collaboration, and blended learning.

Taylor has also supported students with behavioral and learning needs as a Paraprofessional. Beyond the classroom, she led international student trips, including a cultural tour to Ecuador and the Galápagos.
