At all well-established international schools, thoughtful succession planning for senior leadership roles is a natural part of long-term growth and stability. As we are striving to evolve into one of the region’s leading schools, it is both our responsibility and privilege to plan ahead with care and transparency, ensuring the sustainable development of our school. And part of that responsibility is to communicate openly and plan ahead with care for our whole community.
We had a conversation with our Head of School about her plans, and would like to share with you that Deborah has made the decision not to renew her contract for next academic year. Looking ahead, she has chosen to seek pastures new. By announcing this early, we aim to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, including the search for a new Head of School.
The past two years have been both challenging and deeply rewarding. Together, we’ve made meaningful progress – enhancing the quality of our academic programmes, raising student achievement, growing our community, and strengthening the school’s foundation. These achievements would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our incredible team, and we are sincerely grateful for your support throughout this journey.
That said, our shared mission continues. There is still much to do this year – and Deborah remains fully committed to her role as Head of School until the end of the academic year. She looks forward to continuing to guide and support our school with the same passion and dedication she has always shown.
Both of us remain deeply committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and high-quality education for our students. With your continued support, we are confident that this year will be another step forward in the life of our school.
