We are absolutely thrilled to announce a historic milestone for our school's mathematics department! Three of our exceptional students have officially qualified to represent the national team at the prestigious Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO):

A Record-Breaking Achievement!

The magnitude of this success cannot be overstated. Following the selection results, the Secretary of the Math Society personally called our math department to extend their congratulations. For the first time in the history of the competition, half of the entire national team consists of students from a single school—OURS! The JBMO is one of the most rigorous and competitive regional mathematics competitions in the world. Having our students make up 50% of the national squad is a testament to their brilliant minds, tireless work ethic, and the incredible academic standards we uphold here at The Island School.
