Dear Parents and Guardians,
An exciting opportunity has arisen for our wonderful students and budding writers to take part in.
Please see the attached details about the competition, which explain the event and requirements.
The competition is not mandatory, but it is open to all students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 who would like to participate. The idea is that students complete the main part of the essay during their own time at home. English teachers and I will guide them and check their progress along the way. This support will be coordinated by the relevant department or teacher.
To participate in the competition, parents must also complete the registration & consent form:
👉 REGISTRATION FORM
The deadline to submit your writing to me is Tuesday, 14 April 2026.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at lcodd@isl.cy if you have any questions about the competition.
Kind regards,
Lisa Codd
