Last Saturday, around 70 Island students from Grades 5–12 took part in the annual County Mathematics Competition at Lyceum Linopetras in Limassol and represented our school proudly!
Organised by the Cyprus Mathematical Society (CMS), the competition challenged participants to think creatively and solve complex mathematical problems. We’re proud to share that Island students made up about 10% of all participants at the Limassol location, an incredible achievement!
Throughout the year, our students have been preparing for math Olympiads with Ms. Zung, Mr. JJ, Mr. Nikos, and Mr. Ben, developing both their skills and confidence. Their determination truly paid off this weekend.
👏 Congratulations to all who took part!
We look forward to seeing the results soon and to more competitions later this year.
